Anna Paine and Owen Bryson, or A&O if you’re too time-poor to address them formally, met in 2012 while studying creative advertising at Media Design School, Auckland.

With a shared passion for big ideas and day-drinking, they soon became friends. About halfway through the course, partly thanks to Owen’s lack of Photoshop skills and Anna’s inability to spell, they made their creative partnership Facebook-official.

After securing the Marsden Inch Scholarship for most promising creative team, the pair landed their first job at Sugar&Partners, where, for two years… nothing much happened. But New Zealand’s most promising creative team wasn’t going to let that dampen their spirits. They headed across the ditch to start anew at DDB Sydney, where they spent 7 years honing their skills on some of the world’s biggest brands while learning from some of the world’s smartest advertising minds.

They’ve spent the last 3 years at Sydney-based indie agency Dig, where they were recently appointed creative directors, picking up clients like Mitre 10, RACV, and Australian Pork, to name a few.

They pride themselves on their ability to create big, bold, strategically sound brand work. Their ability to win pitches. And their ability to make friends with the bartenders at any pub they visit.

If you’ve made it this far and you’d like to know more, A&O appreciate your resolve and invite you to get in touch.
